1.0 Scope
1.1
This standard covers the performance and design requirements as well as performance tests governing the construction of locomotive cab seats on railroad locomotives.
1.2
The area within which the seat shall fit will compromise the maximum dimensions of 24 inches wide and 20¼ inches long.
1.3
The general features and adjustments include variable back tilt, sloping seat cushion, for-aft movement, variable height and swivel capabilities and folding armrests
